Communities and Local Government / IGGI are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to facilitate networking with other IGGI members and to provide you with information including news updates and improvements to our site. If you are a PGA member, the information will also be used to deliver products and services under the agreement. All your information is handled in accordance with the Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998.

We only collect information that you actively provide us with. This is generally information required to keep you up to date with changes and developments. Your personal data will only be shared with other IGGI members and selected third parties which provide products and services under the Pan-Government Agreement and enable access to PGA data via Maps on Tap. Members are either central government organisations or associate organisations which are considered by us to bring value to the IGGI community (e.g. AGI). Your personal data will not be used for any other purpose.
This information is stored securely so that the IGGI secretariat and other members may contact you at a later date. Your personal data will only be passed/transferred within the UK and not to countries outside the EEA.
We take great care to ensure that personal data is secure and protected. We vet all membership requests before access is given to the members only part of the website. Certain information will be passed onto selected third party suppliers which provide products and services under the Pan-Government Agreement and Maps on Tap, full details of whom are available on request. The information you provide will be processed by the IGGI website, who will not disclose your details to any other bodies.
If you believe that the information we hold on you is not accurate you can amend this directly through the website or request to see such information and ask for it to be amended.
IGGI maintains web logs in order to evaluate the popularity of its pages and sites. These will not reveal any details about you or impact on your privacy in any way.
If you decide that IGGI membership is no longer for you, then simply send an email to info@iggi.gov.uk and we will remove your information promptly. If you fail to notify IGGI and we discover you no longer work for your department we will modify your IGGI status to ex-member.
By entering your details, you consent to collection and use of this information as described above. If we change our privacy policy, we will post any changes on these pages so that you are always aware of how we use your information.
